BRUSHED MERINO SCARF
Super soft brushed Merino scarf – lighter than air, baby soft, weighing just under 100g.
Hand dyed in variegated shades of powder blue. This is an incredibly soft, elegant, high quality wool. Woven in an open sett to allow the Merino to “brush out” and create its halo. The scarf has an almost sheerness to it.
This was a commission piece and followed the brief from the customer who had already purchased a light pink scarf.

LINEN SHAWL
Sheer, elegant and classy – pure ultra fine linen woven in a balanced weave with great attention to detail.
The shawl is divided into striped areas with base colours of mixed olive and light green, and teal blue. Overlaid on the base is a grid in the same tones.
This was a commission piece and followed the brief from the customer who missed out on a similar design previously in the shop. This uses similar colourings, but in different patterns across the shawl.

SILK SCARF
Luxurious and elegant – pure ultra fine silk which was hand dyed in vibrant shades of India.
The shawl is divided into areas of orange gold, purple and magenta. Overlaid in stripes and sqaures in the same tones, woven in a diamond lace pattern.
This was a commission piece for an 80th birthday.

LINEN SHAWL

MÖBIUS PONCHO
This fashionable poncho has been hand finished and sewn with great attention to detail.
Woven in pure fine merino yarn. The base was hand dyed in low immersion to create a spectrum of browns – from light field wheat to a caramel. The cloth was woven in a deep purple. Using a warp faced altered herringbone twill, the cloth is two-sided. When the poncho was folded and sewn, a two-tone effect was achieved.
This was a commission piece and followed the brief from the customer who chose the colour palette. She is of smaller stature and wanted a hands-free wrap for winter that would not be over-powering in design.

UNDERBUSH CLOAK
Hooded cloak from the heart of Aotearoa. This original design cloak has been hand finished and sewn with great attention to detail.
Woven in pure fine merino yarn. The base was hand dyed in low immersion to create a spectrum of moss greens. The cloak was woven in the same, but a bit darker – almost tone-in-tone, but different enough to create depth in the patterning. The border was hand dyed in a light yellow green in nuances.
This was a commission piece and followed the brief from the customer wanting an earthy, forest green cloak for walks in the mountains.
