Santorini. Handwoven scarf in the softness of alpaca.

Inspired by the blue doors of the island, this original design scarf woven from fine alpaca yarn was entirely hand dyed in shades of teal. The base is natural Corriedale.

Perfect as a statement accessory or giving warmth under a coat. Gender neutral. The Alpaca Corriedale blend offers incredible warmth while remaining very lightweight. The scarf is very soft, drapey and warm.

Alpaca is one of the finest natural fibres in the world and has a distinctive texture and sheen that feels soft and smooth against the skin. It’s softer than other animal fibres that can feel scratchy, and the final product always reflects that fine quality. Alpaca fiber is warmer and lighter than classic wools and is the wind, water, and stain-resistant.

Corriedale is a New Zealand breed of sheep, cross-bred around 1882 in the South Island (Merino and Lincoln Longwool). The resulting yarn is very soft yet has good weight for outerwear.

The scarf has been hand washed and dried, then pressed.
