Paul’s Plaid #3. Hand-woven shawl. This individual piece can be worn as a doubled scarf or wrap. It is lightweight but very warm. This is a unique scarf – only one was made.
Part of a series where I weave shawls inspired by the soft plaid flannel shirts my father wore.
The shawl is a plaid block colourway in light blue, cremes and beige, with a bit of grey thrown in. There is intentional asymmetry.
The shawl is quite long allowing you to wrap around well, or use as a shoulder wrap when outside walking or sitting by fires.
The shawl has been hand washed and dried, then pressed.
Dimensions: width 17″ – 43cm // length w/o fringe 73″ – 186cm // fringe 6″ – 15cm.
Materials: 100% lambswool – partially hand-dyed. Hand twisted fringe. Hand wash only.
