Stroll through Ladakh – The colours of India, a versatile trans-seasonal poncho with multiple woven designs. This is an incredibly tactile textured cloth.
This is woven from 100% fine cotton with a multi coloured base: gold, raspberry and copper. The same colours were used in the design weave, in addition to turquoise, purple and a burnt orange. A thicker thread of black was woven between each colour element. This shawl has a more open sett with lovely drape and softness.
This original design poncho cape is versatile – and warm. The opening can be worn front and center, or off to one side. On very windy days you can use a brooch to bring the neck opening closer to your body. This looks especially nice when worn to the side. It can also be belted across the front for a boho style look.
Great wrap to guard against wind and cold. It has weight and can be worn outdoors pedaling your bike or on a walk, or on the sofa watching Netflix. Also a perfect companion for sitting on the veranda in the evening or morning, drinking coffee or sipping wine coolers!
The front/side seam and the entire neckline have been hand finished for a neat professional rounded look and to avoid loosening.
The cloth is soft and drapey. It has been machine washed in a lingerie bag, line dried, then pressed.
Materials: 100% fine cotton from Brassard. Hand twisted fringe. Machine wash possible.

The cotton I buy is from Maurice Brassard in Québec. This is one of the world’s finest cotton spun yarns. Cotton is a natural fibre that is soft, breathable and absorbent. Cotton can be cool, yet offer warmth, is strong, and can stand up against abrasion wear and high temperature. In one word, cotton is comfortable.
