Chocolate Bar. Handwoven ultra fine merino and silk scarf.

This is woven from a combination of extraordinarily fine merino and hand dyed Bombyx silk, perfect for elegant scarves. The colours are natural chocolate brown merino and a very light lavender silk. The base is ultra natural cotton which gives the scarf its foundation. Each side of the scarf is different: one has dark squares on light, the other reversed. This gives movement to the cloth when wearing.

The scarf drapes well, and is so soft. This will look lovely wrapped a couple times around your neck, and as an accent piece or wrap. Gender neutral in design with a contemporary yet timeless look.

The scarf has been hand washed and line dried, then pressed.

Materials: Ultra fine merino and silk on cotton. Hand twisted fringe. Hand wash only. Warm iron.

Merino wool comes from our Merino sheep and is renowned for its exceptional properties: its fantastic softness, durability, cooling/heating and breathability. The fibres of Merino are softer, finer and more sensitive than many other fibres – the main difference to other wools. Superfine Merino is a soft, elegant yarn that has traditionally been used in creating garments of the highest quality. It is a true luxury yarn.

Made popular in China thousands of years ago for its luxurious quality, mulberry silk comes from the Morus Alba tree. Mulberry silk is made from the cocoon of the Bombyx mori moth. Before metamorphosis, the caterpillar feeds exclusively on the white mulberry leaf—this is one of the reasons why this silk is known for its second-to-none quality.
