Pride-scape. Handwoven shawl using the pastel tones of the rainbow flag.

This original design shawl woven from proud NZ yarn was entirely hand dyed. The base was sun-dyed in six different colours (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple) creating a soft background gradient. The shawl was woven using the natural Corriedale wool.

Different twill treadlings and tie ups create a gorgeous signature pattern.

The perfect companion for sitting on the veranda in the evening or morning, drinking coffee or sipping wine coolers! Perfect for an evening out, or snuggling on the sofa or deck. It can be worn as a boho poncho with belt, as a stole, or wrap. Corriedale offers incredible warmth while remaining lightweight. The large size is perfect for cuddling in to, offering comfort to the wearer.

The shawl is very soft, is squishy, drapey and warm.

Corriedale is a New Zealand breed of sheep, cross-bred around 1882 in the South Island (Merino and Lincoln Longwool). The resulting yarn is very soft yet has good weight for outerwear.

The shawl has been hand washed and dried, then pressed.
